Between Gemmano and Montefiore Conca extends this small valley which seemis almost a miracle, considering it has main-tained it’s wild aspects quite unbelievable for these hills so close to the coast and large city centres.
The Ventena river flows in a wide corridore of lush vegetation there is the presence of a rare Alder and numerous Orchids and Hillock.
The slopes of the valley with it’s gorges are a wonderful sight. This is one of the oldest and surprisingly beautiful landscapes in the province. There is a well established net-work of walks which allows excellent excursions between the two different towns which touch different rural villages.
